AbsorberLine® MF/ EV and EV ULTRA?
Understanding the Distinct Differences.
While AbsorberLine MF and EV may appear similar at first glance, they are actually distinctly different products, each designed to excel in specific applications. Let's explore the contrasting features of these two offerings.
AbsorberLine® MF - Perfect for Interior Applications.
AbsorberLine MF is specifically designed for interior applications, utilising a galvanised steel with a composite fibre core. This construction allows the MF panels to be powder coated in any RAL colour, offering versatility in customisation to match your interior design aesthetic. With its superior noise absorption properties, AbsorberLine MF enhances acoustics in spaces such as prisons, theatres, sports halls and industrial environments where high impact acoustic panels are required.
AbsorberLine® EV - Tailored for Exterior Applications.
On the other hand, AbsorberLine EV is purpose-built for exterior applications, featuring a patented perforated self-healing steel outer skin. This innovative construction addresses concerns of rust and corrosion while providing excellent durability. Combining the self-healing steel with our market-leading infill, EnviroPhon, AbsorberLine EV offers exceptional noise reduction and UV stable weather resistance, making it ideal for outdoor environments such as transportation corridors like railtrack side panels and motorway fencing, building facades, and outdoor entertainment venues such as sports stadia.

Although galvanised steel has well known life expectancy of 30-60 years, when you perforate the steel you cut through the galvanised layer exposing the steel. As the steel has to be galvanised prior to the perforating process. So the metal will begin to rust in 5 years. For all high humidity and wet environments we highly advise the use of AbsorberLine® EV ULTRA as its self healing properties help re-seal the perforations, ensuring protection for up to 20 years in wet applications.
